Arrival and Dismissal

• Student Drop-Off - 7:15 AM - 7:30 AM
• School Day - 7:30 AM - 2:15 PM

Leaving Early

The student check out procedure begins in the school office. Please do not go directly to the classroom to get your child. Only parents or adults (over 18 years of age), who are listed on the Parent Permission to Pickup Student Card will be allowed to check out students before the regular dismissal time. For the safety of our children, the office staff will ask for identification. PLEASE HAVE PICTURE IDENTIFICATION WITH YOU WHEN YOU PICK-UP YOUR CHILD. A child will not be released if proper ID is not given. Students will not be allowed to leave the campus early by themselves. Your child will not be released to any adult who is not listed on the child’s enrollment card or on the Parent Permission to Pick-Up Student Card. After identification has been checked, your child will be called via the PA System to come to the office with their belongings to meet you for pick up.

Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures

Drop-off Procedures 7:15 AM - 7:30 AM:

• K - 2nd grade, enter east side of school on Ventura Ave. Exit west on Florence - right turn only.
• 3rd - 5th grade, enter on north side of school on San Diego Ave. Exit east on San Diego and continue east or turn north on Ventura. No southbound turn onto Ventura due to K - 2 pick-up/drop-off process.
• If using the drop off lane, driver must remain in vehicle at all times.
• Please pull ALL THE WAY FORWARD as directed by traffic helpers. Do not stop directly in front of school entrance as this causes all traffic to back up!
• Students must exit from the passenger side of the vehicle.
• If family has multiple students, use the drop-off area of the youngest student.
• If these procedures are not convenient for you, please park your vehicle and use the crosswalk to enter school.

Pick-up Procedures 2:15 PM:

• K - 2nd grade, enter east side of school on Ventura Ave. Exit west on Florence - right turn only.
• 3rd - 5th grade, enter on north side of school on San Diego Ave. Exit east on San Diego and continue east or turn north on Ventura. No southbound turn onto Ventura due to K - 2 pick-up/drop-off process.
• Please pull all the way forward and come to a complete stop before allowing student to enter vehicle on the passenger side.
• If family has multiple students, use the drop-off area of the youngest student.
• If these procedures are not convenient for you, please park your vehicle and use the crosswalk to enter school.
